JAMMU, July 7: Durga Wahani Shoreya Prashikshan Warg organized a weeklong training camp at DBN School Talab Tillo near here today in which hundreds of young girls from across the Jammu region participated. Camp is being organized to provide skills and personality development training , so that, after completion trained girls could contribute in their respective areas.
On the occasion, Ajay Vaid, State vice president BJYM was the chief guest who distributed refreshment among the participants after the culmination of today’s function. While speaking to participants, Vaid said that after new Government took reins in State and Centre women folk are being given equal opportunities of growth and development.
Citing example of ‘Beti Padao Beti Bachao’, Ajay Vaid said that BJP Government is committed to the overall development and equal opportunity to women in the country as a result of which State Chief Minister and important posts in BJP and allied parties are headed by women.
Even, MP and National president BJYM Poonam Mahajan is an example for the aspirants of this camp, added Vaid. He said any country could develop if its women folk are developed. He wished best for participants and asked them to utilize the talent in their respective areas for overall development of the State.
Those who were present on the occasion include, Prant Vivasta Pramukh, Ashok Gupta, Lalit Menia, Bimla Gupta, Suman Boxer, Shiva Khajuria, Rajni Thakral, Shoba Choudhary, Nandni Malhotra and others.
