Dushyant elected president JKWA

JAMMU, May 17: Former president Wrestling Federation of India Dushyant Sharma was unanimously elected president of Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association (JKWA) in the election meeting held at Amar Singh Club, here today.
Suresh Upadhaya from Wrestling Federation of India, Ashutosh Sharma from J&K Olympic Association and Romesh Mahajan from J&K State Sports Council were observers during the election.
Meanwhile, Narinder Mahajan was elected as Senior vice president, while Krishan Lal, Abdul Shah, Kuldeep Sharma, Satish Abrol and Vijay Pahalwan were elected vice presidents of the Association.
Ajay Vaid was elected general secretary of the Association, while Swarn Lal and Raju Sharma were named joint secretary and treasurer respectively.
The executive members elected included Haneef Mohd Sofi, Kamal Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Ashim Vaid, Balkar Singh, Rattan Lal, Vijay Gupta, Ramesh Chander and Sukhdev Singh.
Kuldeep Khoda, Chief Vigilance Commissioner J&K and former president of the Association was elevated to the post to the post of patron-in-chief.
