Dussehra celebrated with religious zeal

JAMMU, Oct 13: Dussehra was celebrated with religious zeal and enthusiasm.
Mother’s Pride and Joy Pre-School celebrated Dussehra, the victory of good over evil with religious zeal and enthusiasm. Children turned up in the ethnic attire wearing ‘mukuts’ which added to the spirit of the occasion. The children were apprised about the importance of the festival.
Daffodils Care Convent Play Way School, Jain Bazar celebrated Dussehra with enthusiasm. The programme started with a hymn of Lord Rama, followed by dance on different songs by children, who were attired in different characters of Ramayana. A play was also present by the tiny toddlers showing the fight between Lord Rama and King Ravana. The effigy of Ravana was also burnt by the. Shikha Puri, Principal threw light on the importance of festival and also impressed upon the students to follow the path of truth.
