JAMMU, Sept 29: Government today assigned the charge of the post of Director Sainik Welfare (DSW) J&K to Gurpreet Singh, Deputy Secretary of Home Department.
“Gurpreet Singh, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Home Department, shall hold the additional charge of the post of Director Sainik Welfare, J&K, for discharge of current routine duties till Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan takes up the assignment after his superannuation from the Army on 31-10-2020,” said a Government order issued today.
According to the order, Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan was appointed as Director Sainik Welfare Department, J&K, vide Government Order No. 194-Home of 2020 dated 18-09-2020.
