SRINAGAR, July 23: The Department of Youth Services and Sports conducted under 14 and 16 cricket boys at two different venues HS Sonwar & Madhni Sports Ground in U/16 years Cricket Anantnag defeated Ganderbal in finals and lifted the U/16 cricket title.
Batting first Ganderbal scored 153 in allotted 25 overs while chasing the target Anantnag lose early five wickets at the score of 27 runs only the batsman of Anantnag Sabzar played a brilliant knock of 80 runs which helps Anantnag to win the title.
In another final of U/14 Boys at HS Sonwar Srinagar defeated Anantnag in neck to neck contest bating first. Srinagar score 120 in allotted 20 Overs chasing the target Anantnag bold out on 113 only Meeran of Srinagar score 29 runs and Haseeb 26 runs.
