BHADERWAH, Oct 22: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) today organised Girls Trekking Expedition by following all SOPs issued by the Government, here today.
The trekkers will explore the different parts of Chenab region during the five day trekking expedition.
About 47 girl students from different schools of Doda district participated in this adventure cum motivational trip.
Neeta Manhas was the In-charge of the trekking expedition. “The aim of the event was to participate the girl students in this expedition who were feeling depressed due to prolonged lockdown and to educate others about the SOPs and guidelines issued by the Government to control pandemic”, she said.
She further said that the initiative took by DYSS will help young girls to gain confidence besides improving their mood and energy levels.
