LONDON, Oct 22: Singer Ed Sheeran is back in Framlingham, where he grew up, to celebrate the relaunch of the newly-renovated Mills Meadow centre, which provides nursing care for the elderly.
The “Lego House” singer, who was joined by his parents, took a tour of the facility and spent time talking to residents and their family members before cutting the ribbon to the Sheeran Suite, one of four new areas at the care home, reported Daily Telegraph.
“It’s quite nice here. My grandfather passed away from dementia in a home like this, so it’s nice to see what they are doing here – they’re doing some good stuff,” he said.
“My dad was joking with me, saying that he’s picked out his room already; he’s convinced he’s going to end up here. Maybe it’s a premonition. It’s nice here, everyone is really friendly.” (PTI)
