JAMMU, Nov 10: Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants R K Pandita today said education dispels darkness of ignorance and irrationality.
Speaking at a function organized by S L Memorial Model High School here today, Mr Pandita said education is global transformation and not the individual asset. He said the education makes complete transformation of people.
He appreciated the role of private players in education sector and said they have revolutionized the education sector as a whole.
He along with other guests released second issue of School Magazine, Shri Leela on the occasion.
Pandita also recalled the role of S L Memorial Model High School and said that the institute has emerged among one of the prime institutes of Jammu.
The function was presided over by Dr Tej Kaul, sole trustee & Founder S L Memorial Trust. He highlighted the objective of the Trust. Nancy Kaul was guest of honour on the occasion.
