GOOL, Aug 21: 23 girl students and 2 teachers hailing from Gool area of Ramban district embarked on an Educational-cum-Motivational Tour to Kota and Agra.
The tour was flagged off in a formal ceremony organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Gool, under the aegis of Reasi based Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarters.
The group was addressed at length by the Commanding Officer who briefed them on the motive of the tour and the tremendous boost he expected to their collective perceptions as a result of the stimulating interactions planned for them.
The tour is planned to visit prestigious institutes/establishments and historic monuments of the country in Kota and Agra, which include Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Saint John’s College and Kishore Sagar and Hitkari Women’s College.
A series of interactions with senior Army and Civil officials are also on the cards.
The more serious segments of the tour have been liberally interspersed with fun and frolic through sightseeing trips and places of religious and archaeological interest at Agra and Kota for a holistic blend of stimulus that shall both motivate and entertain.
The trip will return back to Gool on August 29, 2013 covering an itinerary that includes Agra, Mathura and Kota.
