Educational Institutions celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr

JAMMU, Aug 8: Various educational institutions celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with religious fervour and great pomp and show at their respective venues, today.
JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with pomp and show in school premises, here today.
The students of various classes took part in different activities and were busy in Naat and sermons.
Managing Director of the school Sanjeev Gupta was the chief guest, while Rajni Gupta, Director of the Academics Geeta Dixit, Vice Principal and Vandana Gupta, Coordinator and other staff members were present on the occasion.
Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated at the Goenkan Acres with great fervour. The programme began with the recitation of Surat-ul-Fateha recited by Akram Patel.
The significance of the Eid was highlighted by Mohsina Fatima of Class Xth.
Students of Classes Vth and VIth performed sufi dance on the song ‘Khawaja Mere Khawaja’.
School Principal, Jyoti Asija while wishing the students and teachers ‘Happy Eid’ said that each individual must take a lesson from Ramadan, which teaches us to be patient and control emotions.
Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with religious fervour in its campus near Chandigarh. It enlightened individual’s mind with the fragrance of forgiveness and brotherhood. The students of B Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA and B Ed, Polytechnic Diploma etc participated in various cultural activities to celebrate the Eid in true spirits.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Anshu Kataria said that majority of students studying in Aryans Group of Colleges are from the Valley.
A function was held at Campus of Vinayak Institute of Nursing Paramedical Sciences, Kunjwani, Jammu to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with fervour and gaiety.
On the occasion, chairman of the Institute, AD Singh described the importance of the festival of Eid and the month of Ramadan to the students.
Meanwhile, Tiny Tots Hr. Sec. School celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with full gaiety and fervor. A number of cultural programmes displaying the happiness among people, On this festival was thrilling. students also performed a skit “Eid Mubarak in which they presented the importance of the holy month of Ramzan and giving message of love, harmony and brotherhood. Students were also awarded for their achievements in various activities . They were honoured with prizes and merit Certificates.
Mohit Kapoor, Manik Sharma and Rudra Langer bagged first three positions respectively, while in English Calligraphy, Priya Sharma,  Fiza Padwal and Kritika Bali first second and third position respectively.
In Hindi Calligraphy, Anmol Sharma , Shivain Sharma and Priya sharma  claimed top three spots.
In Carrom competition,Rudra Langer , Rishab Dev Singh and Saqib Khan clinched top three slots.
Ratna Bharti, Principal Tiny Tots Elementary Teacher Training was the chief guest, while  Shashi Kanta was the guest of honour.
Deepali Handa, Principal of the school presented vote of thanks.
