Eight vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, Feb 21: Jammu Police today claimed that they have seized 8 vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the District.
A police spokesperson said that three tractor trolleys were seized by Police Post Phallain Mandal, one by Police Station Gharota and two tractors were seized by Border Police Post Gajansoo. Further, one tipper each was seized by Police Post Chinore and Police Post Chowki Choura.
The recoveries were made by SHO Gharota Inspector Joginder Singh Chib, I/C PP Phallain Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, I/C PP Chinore PSI Rajesh Kumar, I/C PP Chowki Choura PSI Pankaj Katoch and I/C BPP Gajansoo ASI Ravinder Bhushan from the areas under their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, the spokesperson added.
