JAMMU, Mar 18: J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed resentment against the office of the Accountant General Jammu for delay in verification of Service Books of retirees.
The EJAC(R) leaders met today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik (president of the Association). Senior trade union leaders including Yashpal Sharma, Darshan Magotra, Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Surinder Radotra, Naresh Kumar, Meenakshi Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Vikas Chander, Arun Sharma, Parshotam Sharma, Kamla Sharma and Rohit Seth attended the meeting.
During the meeting, all the leaders in one voice strongly raised voice against the office of the Accountant General Jammu for delay in verification of service Books of retirees as the same are lying in the office of Accountant General J&K for even more than 6 months due to which retirees are suffering badly in the absence of the pension.
All the Union leaders stressed upon the Accountant General J&K to look into the matter personally and sort out the same at an earliest to avoid further inconvenience to the retirees.
