EJAC seeks justice for contractual teachers

JAMMU, June 10: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (R) today appealed Governor SP Malik to do justice to 1200 contractual teachers in Jammu Division, who have been disengaged by the State Government.
State president of the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC), Babu Hussain Malik, while addressing a meeting of the committee members, said that the decision of the State Government to disengage the services scholars and highly qualified youth is highly condemnable.
He said that Contractual Teachers’ Association has been peacefully protesting at Partap Park in Srinagar for last 29 days, demanding continuation of the services of the contractual teachers. He appealed the Governor to intervene personally into the matter to ensure justice to these highly qualified contractual teachers.
