Khan said, “The State Government has failed to fulfill its commitment made with leadership of employees as the SROs have not been issued till date. There is great resentment among the employees for delay in issuance of orders for implementation of 7th PC and removal of pay anomaly”.
“In addition to this, the SRO 520 issued for regularization of daily rated workers has not been implemented till date. SRO 202 has not been revoked till date. Anganwari workers and helpers are on protest for more than 54 days for their genuine demands but those have not been fulfilled till date. Moreover, medical allowance in favour of all State Government employees has not been enhanced till date and they are still getting a petty amount of Rs 300 per month on the name of medical allowance”, The EJAC president said.
Stating that the delaying tactics of the Government is creating confusion among the employees and compelling them to come on roads for fulfillment of their genuine demands, Balwinder Singh appealed the Government to fulfill its commitment made with representatives of employees and workers from time to time, so that the demands of the employees are conceded without any confrontation.
