JAMMU, Mar 28: The team of Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) under SVEEP organised awareness programme in the office of the Director School Education, here today.
The programme was held under the guidance of District Election Officer, Ramesh Kumar.
Voters Awareness Forum (VAF) was formed on the occasion in presence of Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, Joint Director HR Pakhru and Deputy Director Planning Mamta Sharma.
During the programme, live demonstration of EVM and VVPAT was given by DLMT, Darshan Lal Sharma.
The SVEEP team included Devider Singh Manhas, Nodal Officer SVEEP, Dr Sandilya Perminder Kour (Assistant Prof), Dr Ajay Singh Manhas, Sushil Hitaishi, Poonam Gandotra, Neeraj Jamwal, Sachin Amla and Lalit Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Direcor School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta appreciated the efforts of the team in providing awareness to the employees of the School Education Department besides forming a Voter Awareness Forum.
