UDHAMPUR, June 2: An elderly man was found dead at old Chenani Minibus stand, here this morning.
According to the police reports, the deceased was identified as Krishan Chand (64), son of Tilu Ram, resident of Gandala Udhampur. He was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Some locals spotted the body and immediately called the police following which SHO Police Station Udhampur rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
A case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection and further investigation is going on.
