JAMMU, Oct 17: Mohammed Sharief Niaz, former Minister and Ex MLA Bhaderwah has alleged that the election of cooperative societies in Bhallessa area and water shed project committees in panchayats Manoo A and Manoo B block Chilli has been conducted in an undemocratic way ignoring all norms and rules.
In a statement, Niaz said no publicity or advertisement was got published as a result concerned departments have aggrieved the general public.
This undemocratic and anti people attitude of concerned department is creating law and order problems at a time when State is already burning due to unprecedented unrest. Few departments are adding fuel to the fire at the behest of legislatures and workers of ruling alliance. It is the responsibility of ruling alliance to create conducive atmosphere in every part of State. On the contrary, ruling parties are adding fuel for their vested interest. Most of the Ministers and MLAs are interfering in the day to day work of administration to this extent that the Govt officers have become handicapped and they cannot do any work under rules and norms.
Niaz has demanded that election of autonomous bodies like cooperative societies, water shed committees and panchayats be conducted in democratic way and political interference should be barred forthwith.
