JAMMU, Nov 4: The elementary wing of The Shri Ram Universal School Jammu celebrated Annual Day with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The event started with lighting of the lamp and the school coir presenting the school song.
Rajvinder Kour, Elementary Teacher and the Shriites welcomed the dignitaries and felicitated them with a plant as per the Shri ethos.
School Principal Ritula Singh spoke and gave an update on the development of the school.
The panel of dignitaries that consists of the chief guest Kavinder Gupta former Deputy CM, Neeraj Anand President Chamber of Trader Federation, Dinesh Gupta Secretary Chamber of Traders Federation, Major KC Bhagat, Amit Gupta, Sanjeev Gupta Trustee and Rajni Gupta Director of The Shri Ram Universal School.
The theme for the day was “Panchatantra”, which was depicted and presented meticulously by the students of Badhte Kadam and Form-1. The students updated the parents about what is Panchatantra? Who wrote it? Why it is called Panchatantra? This was done by way of musicals, skits and presentations. The students also showcased this by drawing characters from the theme and creative writing which was enjoyed by the parents and dignitaries alike.
The chief guest Kavinder Gupta was visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students. He was astonished to observe the young children narrating scripts with perfect articulation.
In the end, the vote of thanks was proposed by Priyanka Sharma, Elementary Teacher.
