JAMMU, Jan 18: Elite Blues defeated Trikuta Warriors with 51 runs and sailed into finals of the ongoing Elite Premier League, organized by Trikuta Cricket Academy at Railway Ground, her today.
Elite Blues won the toss and elected to bat first. Elite Blues scored 324 by losing nine wickets in 40 overs. Yuvraj Saini scored unbeaten 134 runs. Avinash made 54, Abhay scored 31 runs and Arsh and Aditya contributed 29 and 23 runs respectively. For Trikuta Warriors, Aquib and Ayush took two wickets each.
In reply, Trikuta Warriors bundled out at 273 runs in 36.4 overs in which Ayush and Jahanveer scored 66 and 61 runs respectively, whereas Harman scored 42 and Mohsin made 31 runs. For Elite Blues, Dhrub Gupta took three wickets, whereas Dhruv Parmar and Arya Suvansh bagged two wickets each and Abhay, Yuvraj and Aditya clinched one wicket each.
Man of the Match was awarded to Yuvraj Saini for a wonderful century and a wicket during the match.
The tournament is being organized by Trikuta Cricket Academy under the overall supervision of Balbir Singh and Sukomal Ganguly in association with Elite Club.
