Employees demand release of salaries

Srinagar, July 2: The State Public Sector Employees Federation today appealed Government to release with held salaries of the employees of four corporations.
The federation said the salaries of around 10,000 employees of four corporations which include JK Horticulture Produce marketing Processing Corporation, JK Handloom, Arts Emporium and JK Industries are pending from months.
“We appeal Government to release their salaries in view of holy month of Ramadhan in order to remove the sufferings of employees and their families,” the Federation said.
The Federation also sought the intervention of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and urged him to look into the matter.
