Refer news item ‘Employment oriented education my endeavour’ DE Dec 16.
It is the need of the hour that the Government frame such education policies which are linked to employment. The rising graph of unemployed in the State is a matter of concern and needs to be tackled at the earliest. The Government has time and again expressed its inability to provide Government jobs to youths and advocated that youth should create self employment units. However, it may be said here that these units will be successful only when there is Government aid and availability of skilled workers in market. Many units, had to be shut down due to absence of above mentioned support system.
To achieve the objective, it is suggested here that the Government create world class polytechnics in the State where every facility is available to the students.
