Endodontic Society launched in J&K

JAMMU, Mar 6: On the eve of World Dentist Day, a virtual meeting was held today among the Departments of Conservative Dentistry of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu & Government Dental College, Srinagar, wherein, Endodontic Society for J&K was launched.
In the virtual meet, the participants discussed about student exchange programme, better coordination among the faculties and allied issues in Union Territory of J&K. The meeting was coordinated by Dr Shamin Anjum, Assistant Professor, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College. Jammu, who also performed as Scientific secretary in Cons Endo day held in IGGDC, Jammu, the other day.
Principal, Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College, Dr Rakesh Gupta and Principal and Dean, Govt Dental College, Srinagar Dr Riaz Farooq shared their views on the need of Endodontic Society in the UT of J&K, its functions and welfare of the people concerned.
It is pertinent to mention here that similar societies have been created in other states for enhanced sharing of knowledge, updating one with most recent methods, materials and equipments and to create awareness in public interest about dental health.
