AKHNOOR, Dec 15 : Senior Congress leader and former MP Madan Lal Sharma while campaigning for Congress candidate from Akhnoor Sham Lal Sharma at Gharkhal, Rakh Khanoor and Akhnoor town today called upon the voters of the constituency to vote for Sham Lal in view of his performance.
He said that Sham Lal has ensured all round development of Akhnoor constituency and has plans to take it further. Mr Sharma said that the development which Sham as MLA/ Minister has carried out in Akhnoor is testimony to the fact that he not only speaks but also performs on ground. Akhnoor today is one of the model and finest constituency which is growing fast. The people of Akhnoor must vote in favour of Sham Lal Sharma to complete the pending works and to realize the dreams.
The ex- MP said that they work on merits without any distinction of religion, baradari or other factors, as such who so ever coming to our contact was benefitted. Mr Sharma said that Sham Lal Sharma always voiced for the interest of Jammu region and it is important for the region and Akhnoor to send back him to Assembly for keeping vigil and watch the interest of Jammu region and the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the of Akhnoor to re-elect him in the interest of Akhnoor in particular and Jammu region in general.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Th Shamsher Singh, Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh, Tirth Ram, Naseeb Singh, Banti Devi, Pritam Singh Panch, Soni Sharma, Durga Dass and Mangal Dass.
