Sir,
The blind and rapid race of material development and advancement in Science and Industrial revolution have brought almost a complete change in the balance between environment and development. This imbalance holds a threat to mankind more than the nuclear weapons. This material deveopment of man is becoming the cause of ecological imbalance and this type of imbalance is a serious concern for the health of human beings and other living beings of earth. There was a time when ecological balance was intact on the earth. By the grace of God, this globe has been blessed with all types of facilities and requirements of living beings.
Man’s material deveopment has polluted water, air, top soil etc. This polluted water, air soil and noise are the causes of many diseases. Both aspects- progress and environment are necessary and important and are linked with each other. But material development is not tolerated at the cost of environment.
In view of all this, it becomes our prime responsibility to pay attention to maintain balance between environment and development so that the life of all living beings may not be threatened and this earth may not become a “Hell’ for living beings.
Yours etc…
