Sir,
Whatever isn’t legally and morally acceptable to a society is called corrupt practice. But the corruption in the shape of money and material has wide dimensions. It is not a need but greed which every human being possesses in different degrees and volumes. When moral and ethical values start decaying, such unfortunate and unhealthy practices take place. How unfair and unsocial it becomes when a man for a few coins, transgresses all such values which a really goodman should have in his life. Money, as everyone knows, can’t be taken with while leaving this wordly life. Moreover, who doesn’t know, the wealth accumulated through unfair means neither brings peace of mind nor dignity in this world, than what to speak of the next. The systems are more accountable then the character of men in encouraging this malice. If the loopholes are thickly plugged, the chances of corruption get reduced. It is highly fantastic that already rich and educated persons only enjoy this practice.
Embezzlements and scams in crores are done only by those who are on red carpets. Really, strength of a nation isn’t invincible forces but the character of the citizens. Therefore, cultivation of moral values is of indispensible necessity to uproot this evil.
