JAMMU, Mar 26: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) under its ‘Theatre Monday Series’ staged the Hindi Play ‘Samaj Sudhar Aur Hum’ at Laxmi Nagar, Sarwal, here today. The play was directed by Vijay Malla assisted by Mustaq Ali.
The play is a satire on the evils of our society. It depicts how we are ignoring our responsibilities towards the society and nation, prevailing corruption and drug addiction, which is creating ugly atmosphere among the people especially in young generation, who are behaving unconcerned towards nation, brotherhood and parents.
The local populace enjoyed the play and appreciated the theme. They also applauded the work done by the artists.
Those who acted in the play were Nazuk, Qurat-ul-Ain, Shallu, Krishma Kumari, Barkha Thakur, Anurup Pathania, Pankaj Verma, Kunal Salotra, Rahul Gupta, Rahul Sharma, Radhe Krishan, Ravi Dhar, Sahil Sharma, Mustaq Ali and Vijay Malla.
