UDHAMPUR, Sept 3: On the eve of Sadbhavana Diwas, Government College for Women, organised Essay writing and Poster making competitions, in which students participated enthusiastically.
On the occasion, Dr BB Sharma, was the chief guest, who while speaking, encouraged the participants to take part in such programmes actively.
The topic for the Essay writing competition was “Healthy Youth for Healthy India”, in which Shamshad Banoo of BA Part II and Sonia Akhtar of B Com Part III, secured first and second positions respectively.
In Poster making competition, Simranjeet Kour of B Com Part III bagged first position.
The performance of the students was adjudged by the jury members including Dr Shalini Sharma and Dr Parveen Kumari.
At the end, Dr Richpal Singh, NSS Programme Officer, presented vote of thanks.
