JAMMU, June 10: Coord-ination Committee of Estates Employees today urged upon the higher authorities to resolve the pending issues of the employees otherwise they would launch indefinite agitation.
In a meeting of the employees held here today under the chairmanship of Prem Singh Bawa, the employees demanded regularization of daily rated workers, conduct of DPC of all cadre which is pending for the last over 7-8 years. They also demanded reorganization of the department which could not take place since 1973. Mr Bawa said that many posts are lying vacant and daily rated workers be place against these posts.
