Estates employees project demands

JAMMU, Sept 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Estates Employees Coordination Committee has urged upon the higher authorities to address the pending issues of the employees.
A deputation of the Coordination Committee led by chief coordinator, Yash Paul Sharma met the Deputy Director Estates, Jammu Satish Sharma here today and projected the burning issues of the workers before him. The main issues included re-organisation of Estates department, regularization of daily wagers and enhancement of their wages, holding of DPC, provision of two and half days additional pay, sent back employees brought on deputation from Hospitality and protocol, construction of own building of Dy Director office in Jammu, release of arrears of the employees and salary of need base workers. The Dy Director assured to take up their issues with the higher authorities for disposal.
Jeet Raj- president, Subash Chander chairman, Satish Kumar general secretary, Parshotam Kumar vice president, Rajesh Kumar organizer, Hardeep Singh vice chairman and others accompanied the delegation.
