JAMMU, May 5: Under the supervision of English Language teacher, Bhavna Langer, KC Public School involved the students of class XC in the stage production of three scenes from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, which form a chapter in English Literature Reader for class X, here today.
After working on the project for 10 days and engaging all the students in activities like acting, costumes and props designing, sound and light effects and graphic designing of invitational folders, the three key scenes from Shakespeare’s famous tragic play were presented before the audience in two different shows at the newly constructed open-air theatre on School Campus.
The first show was staged for the students and teachers of other four sections of class X, while the second show was presented before the parents of the students of class XC in the evening.
The concerted effort of around 40 students involved in the project resulted into a highly entertaining evening for the parents, who were pleased with the display of their histrionic and linguistic skills on stage.
In his vote of thanks, School Principal, Amarendra Mishra informed the parents that the School strongly believes in the assessment of learning recommended by the CBSE.
