JAMMU, June 27: Evershine Cricket Club defeated Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) by 4 wickets in the ongoing JKCA Jammu District Cricket Tournament, being played at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, SKCC bundled out for a paltry total of 93 runs. Rohan scored 20 runs, while Akshay and Rohit contributed 17 runs each. From Evershine Cricket Club, Bunty and Pritpal took 3 wickets each, while Vikas claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Evershine Cricket Club chased the target by losing 6 wickets to win the match by 4 wickets. Manmeet Singh, Chamkor Singh and Vikas contributed 36, 20 and 18 runs to the total respectively. From SKCC, Akshay and Rohan bagged 2 wickets each, while Anchal claimed one wicket. Vikas was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round display.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh and Vijay Raina as umpires, while Saleem-ur-Rehman acted as the scorer.
