JAMMU, Aug 7: Asked the party workers to gear up for upcoming Municipal Council elections, senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today said that every victory of BJP is a step towards ‘New India’.
The BJP leader was speaking with the party workers during meeting in Nowshera and Sunderbani towns. He was accompanied by newly appointed prabhari, Rakesh Mahajan, seh prabhari, Neena Sharma, district president, Som Dutt and mandal pardhans.
During the meetings, Vivek Annad was appointed as municipality election in charge of Nowshera town and Mohan Prasher for Sunderbani town.
The MLC said that there is an unequivocal and unanimous support of voters with BJP, the need is to channel them into right direction. He asked party workers to devote their extra time and visit door to door for election campaign. He also mulled strategies to bring more and more people into party foothold.
He said BJP has witnessed massive victories in recent years throughout the nation and now the onus lies in our hand to continue the same trend. With every new victory, BJP moves a step ahead toward building a “New India”, he added. He further said “New India” rejected the notion of corruption, bribery, casteism and is based on the strong foundation of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”
Vibodh said happiness and satisfaction is palpable among the masses in regard to the schemes launched by PM Narendra Modi. He said “Collective efforts of all will bear positive and tangible results”. MLC further said elections are the barometer to measure voters’ satisfaction with the party and Government. We need to work hard to realise our agenda of “Congress Mukt Bharat”, he asserted.
Prabhari Rakesh Mahajan, district president, Som Dutt and seh-prabhari, Nenna Sharma also spoke on the occasion and confidently asserted BJP victory in Municipality elections.
