JAMMU, May 15: J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee –R, criticized the Government for not resolving the pending issues of the employees and workers.
In a meeting of the JAC held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, the speakers expressed serious concern over the delay being caused in resolving the pending issues of the employees. They alleged that Government failed to remove the pay anomaly of the clerical cadre despite assurances.
They further demanded enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, release of 6 % DA with effect from January 2015, dislocation allowance to all the employees being posted outside their homes, regularization of daily rated, casual, contractual workers and special budgetary support for clearing pending GP Fund bills. They sought intervention of Chief Minister in this regard.
