RAJOURI, July 30: Ashok Sharma, ex-MLA, demanded medicos and infrastructure for CHCs Taryath and Kalakote and blacktopping of Solki-Taryath and Taryath-Sunderbani road links to ensure health and communication facilities to the people of this remote and hilly area.
He was addressing a day-long convention of Congress workers at Taryath Dak Bungalow. The convention was presided over by BCC president, Hans Raj and former District and Sessions Judge, Hari Om Singh, PCC Coordinator, Vichar Vibhag was the chief guest.
An in-depth interaction on the issues relating to unrest amongst the Youth took place resolving that the outgoing dispensation of BJP-PDP have failed to mitigate the problems being faced by the younger generation of the State. Those occupying the positions in Government were busy in minting money and didn’t take interest to even formulate youth policy despite tall slogans of providing two crore jobs every year by the Prime Minister Narinder Modi and ex-Chief Minister.
Hari Om Singh pleaded for forging unity among all the sections of the society and the areas to ensure check on lopsided development to improve the quality of life of the people of Jammu region. He added that unless the political parties field honest, dedicated and sincere persons, good governance or justice to all will remain in papers only.
He appealed the youth to join political field in large numbers and enrol themselves in Indian Youth Congress to ensure their full participation in the gigantic task of maintaining unity, integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
