Ex-students of BSF School meets at reunion function

JAMMU, Nov 20: The 1989 Class 10th and 1991 pass-out batch of BSF Sr Sec School, Paloura students reunited on November 16-17, 2024 at Jammu.
Twenty-four ex-students returned to their alma mater, reviving memories of their childhood and school days.
The alumni visited their former school building, hostel, classrooms, library and playgrounds, reliving moments from their past.
Emotional reunions with old school staff, including Satish from Physics lab and video calling with Hindi teacher Anusuya added to the nostalgia. A special visit to English teacher Nancy Swaroop’s residence further enriched the experience.
As the alumni shared stories, laughter and tears, time seemed to stand still. The reunion was filled with emotionally enriching and overwhelming moments, leaving everyone spellbound.
The alumni expressed heartfelt thanks to the Principal Dr. S.K Shukla for permitting the Sunday visit. A memento was presented and special gratitude was extended to the staff members-Dilbag Singh (PGT Maths), Neeraj Kumar (PGT Biology), Urnima Thaploo (PGT History), Anil Aggarwal (TGT Computer Science), Amarjit Singh (PET) and Veer Pandit (PET) as well as hostel students for their warm welcome and concern.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Pankaj, Bharat, Vinod, Birender, Ram, Bindu, Amit, Sunil, Shavinder, Vikesh, Kuldeep, Jograj, Narinder, Navjeev, Jyoti, Anuradha, Komila, Rohini, Vivek, Karan, Anurag, Vishal, Pardeepika and Ashima.
