KATHUA, Dec 21: The sleuths of Excise Department conducted raid in different areas of the district and destroyed 700 kilograms of lahan.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Mohammad Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Syed Muried Hussain Shah, the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Vikas Anand, Inspector Excise Sanjeev Khajuria along with Excise Guards Rajinder Singh, Akeel Ahmed, Balbir Singh and Mohammad Ramzan raided the Sakta Chak, Ghatti, Kangdyal and Barnoti areas of Kathua district and recovered 700 kilograms of lahan.
Later, the sleuths destroyed lahan and raw material of illicit liquor.
