CAIRO, Aug 7: An explosion today hit a natural gas pipeline which connects Egypt with Jordan through the Sinai Peninsula.
The pipeline carries gas to an industrial area in Central Sinai and Jordan.
The explosion is 25th in the last three years in a series of blasts that have hit pipelines in Sinai.
Militant group Ansar Bait al-Maqdis may have carried out the blast, security sources said.
Investigations are being held to probe the incident, no deaths have been reported, they said. (PTI)
