As per news reports, so many people have been appointed as teachers in the Education Department on fake certificates. Recently our State High Court has exposed this Govt particularly Department of Education in the matter. One is at a loss to understand how people manage fake certificates from the School Education Boards viz-a-viz Institutions?
Teachers who have been appointed in Rehbar-e- Taleem and Sarv-Shiksha Abhiyan in the recent past, their testimonials need to be checked and verified because future of our children is directly involved. One can judge the height of things, when a teacher was asked to write an essay on Cow where he miserably failed. He could not even solve the questions pertaining to Maths of 4th standard. It is a matter of concern for all of us where our education system is stepping in. It is not here out of place to mention that our Education Deptt is recruiting ineligible people in the system and these very people deceive the society whose part and parcel they are. The education system needs overhauling. A comprehensive policy with regard to appointment of teachers has to be evolved so that competent persons enter the department.
Every Tom, Dick and Harry should not aspire for the teacher post. Our Govt should expose the agencies who one hand-in-glove in the fake certificate racket and punish those teachers who manage appointment in the Education Deptt on fake certificates.
