Premier Football League concludes

KATHUA, Feb 27: Falote FC and United Kathua FC scripted wins by defeating Stadium XI and JKSCFA Kathua with 4-3 and 1-0 goals respectively in Premier Football League, organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration of J&K Football Association at Sports Stadium, here today.
Sajjad Haider, Mountain climber was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony who introduced both the team players along with I/c Manager of Sports Stadium Kathua, Iqbal Singh.
On concluding day of Football Premier League, two matches were played. The first match was played between Stadium-XI & Falote FC wherein Falote FC defeated Stadium-XI by 4-3 goals. Vishal secured two goals and Surjit and Rajit netted one goal each for Falote FC, while Rajan, Narayan and Abhay clinched one goal each for Stadium-XI.
The Falote FC won four matches during the tournament and qualified for the 2nd phase of the Premier league which is scheduled to be held in Jammu soon.
The 2nd match was played between JKSCFA Kathua and United Kathua FC wherein later won the match by 1-0 goal. Ajay of United Kathua scored goal in 15th minutes of the first half, whereas opponent team failed to secure any goal and lost the match with 1-0 goal.
