JAMMU, Oct 31: In a tough fight which lasted for 35 minute, wrestler Farooq Ali of Sarore won the Kyari Kesari dangal held at Kyari near Agore in Jammu by defeating Kaka Singh from Nawa Sheher.
The Dangal was organized by Kyari Dangal Committee under the overall supervision of its president Sarpanch Naschitter Singh and members Pritam Singh, Subhash Chander, Madan Singh, Panch Talab Hussain and referees Tara Chand and Mohd Sadiq.
Bahujan Samaj Party, State general secretary, Rakesh Wazir was the chief guest on the occasion, while Senior Congress leader and Ex MLA Shivdev Singh was guest of honour.
The winner of the competition was awarded with cash prize of Rs 7000 besides other gifts by the chief guest in presence of other dignitaries.
The second main bout remained tied between Lallu of Nawa Sheher and Roshan Lal of Muthi. In total, 45 bouts were played in today’s wrestling event. President Dangal Committee, Naschitter Singh thanked the people for making the Dangal a grand success.
