JAMMU, Apr 2: Jammu Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) President Dr Farooq Abdullah has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakhs for J&K’s promising cricketer Parvez Rasool in recognition of his outstanding performances both at the national and international level.
An official communication in this regard was released by JKCA treasurer Manzoor Wazir.
Dr Abdullah in a message to Parvez, who is all set to play in the big league IPL from the Pune Warrior’s team has expressed happiness on his extra ordinary performance this season.
“I am extremely happy at your brilliant all round performance for the J&K side and the other top teams like India A that you have represented in the recent past. All of us in the J&K in general and the JKCA in particular are proud of you and pray for your success in the IPL season as well”, Dr Farooq Abdullah said.
JKCA will soon organize a function where Parvez and the J&K under-19 team will be rewarded for their performance in this season, Chairman, JKCA media committee Ranjeet Kalra informed.
