JAMMU, Oct 5: Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and President of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Dr Farooq Abdullah would be the Chairman of the BCCI’s Marketing Sub-Committee, which he has retained as per the minutes passed in the Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held at its Headquarters in Mumbai recently. Prominent among other members in this 23-member committee are political heavyweight Rajeev Shukla, Gautam Roy and Mohd Aslam Goni.
Meanwhile, former General Secretary, JKCA, ML Nehru has been given berth in one of the important committee namely Museum and Cricket Memorabilia Committee consisting of 17 members.
Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, Aslam Goni has been given place in five Committees which include 4-member Legal Committee, headed by political heavyweight Arun Jaitley, Constitution Review Committee, chaired by BCCI President N Srinivasan, 3-member Affiliation Committee, with Arun Jaitley and Sanjay Jagdale as the other two members and has been made chairman of the Corporate Trophy Committee.
