SRINAGAR, Mar 17: Former Chief Minister and president of National Conference (NC), Dr Farooq Abdullah, visited house of jailed president of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, at Gupkar here this evening.
Abdullah who was released last week after 7 months of detention drove to the residence of Mehbooba who is jailed in a Government building declared as sub-jail on M A Road in Srinagar. She met Mehbooba’s mother Gulshan Ara and aunt Mehmooda. He was there for two hours from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is, however, not known what transpired between them.
