SRINAGAR, June 8: A superb hat-trick scored by Fayaz helped Al-Manzoor Football Club to defeat Athwajan FC in a close contest by three goals to two (3-2) to move into the next round of the ongoing ‘B’ Division Football League Tournament, being organized by J&K Football Association, DFA Srinagar at Polo Ground and Islamia College Ground, here.
Fayaz scored the goals in 14th, 36yh and 37th minute of the match, while Waseem netted 2 goals for Athwajan in 18th and 48th minute.
In another match, Kashmir Sports blanked Al-Furqan by four goals to nil (4-0). Tauseef scored the first goal in 8th minute, Tajamul Dar pelted second and third goal in 12th and 14th minute respectively, while the last goal was scored by Shabir in 48th minute of the match.
In the third match, Muslim Friends FC trounced Horizon FC by (3-2). Noman scored first goal for Muslim Friends in 13th minute, while Zamir and Ashiq netted goals in 20th and 50 minutes respectively. For Horizon FC, Farhan scored 2 goals in 25th and 59th minute.
