FCC drubs SPCC by 45 runs in Pawan Memorial T20

AKHNOOR, July 3: Friends Cricket Club (FCC) trounced Shashi Paul Cricket Club (SPCC) by 45 runs to qualify for the semifinals of the ongoing 4th Pawan Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Singh Cricket Club, here.
Batting first, FCC scored 150 runs in the allotted overs, with Rohit hitting a magnificent 69 runs, while Vipin and Sunil contributed 15 and 13 runs respectively. Sumesh, Gosha and Baba captured 2 wickets each for SPCC.
SPCC while chasing collapsed at 105 runs, thus lost the match by 45 runs. Mashroor and Vishu were the main contributors with 33 and 31 runs respectively. Arun Dev Singh was the wrecker-in-chief for Friends Cricket Club, who claimed 4 important wickets, while Balbir Singh bagged 3 wickets and Amit Singh 2. Arun Dev Singh was declared as man of the match for his 4-wicket haul.
The match was officiated by Vikas Bali and Sunny Kumar as umpires, while Akshay Kumar was the scorer. The tournament is being held under the supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, Chairman Singh Cricket Club, Akhnoor.
