Doda, Mar 24: A friendly cricket match was played between Fearless Knight Doda and Doda Royal Team at Sports Stadium Doda in which the Fearless Knight Doda team emerged victorious here today.
Doda Royal team captain Rajeev Rana won the toss and elected to bat first and set a challenging target of 172 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Rajeev Rana scored 55 runs in 48 balls, Muneeb Malik scored 22 runs in 20 balls and Ravinder scored 28 runs for their team and set a 172 runs target in front of Fearless Knight Team Doda.
Harjot Singh took 1 wicket by giving 22 runs in 3 overs, while Wasif Sheikh and Arvinder Singh took 1 wicket each and Ayan Wani took 2 wickets for Fearless Knight Team Doda.
While chasing the target of 171 runs, The Fearless Knight Team batsman Sahil scored 20 runs off 10 balls and Ajay Katoch contributed 30 runs off 21 balls for the opening stand. Vikas (Captain) scored 25 runs and Wasif Sheikh contributed 44 runs for their team while Harjot Singh contributed 17 runs. The fearless Knight team chased down the target of 172 runs in 18 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. Wasif Sheikh was declared as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
