JAMMU, Sept 5: FICCI FLO JKL, in partnership with SMVD Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, hosted a health camp at GD Goenka Public School, Gajansoo, Marh, as part of the ‘Har Ghar Swasth’ initiative. The camp aimed to offer affordable healthcare to rural communities and saw participation from over 200 individuals.
The event featured consultations in orthopaedics, ophthalmology and general medicine, with renowned doctors from Narayana Super Speciality Hospital providing expert services. Dr. Ashwani Kumar (Internal Medicine) and Dr. Imran Ganai (Orthopaedics) were among the specialists conducting medical tests and offering free medications. The state-of-the-art Volvo medical bus from Narayana Hospital, equipped with X-ray, ECG, and blood testing facilities, was a significant highlight.
Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson of FICCI FLO JKL, emphasized the importance of leveraging Government healthcare schemes and expressed appreciation for the support from GD Goenka Public School’s management. The camp also informed patients about the Ayushman Bharat scheme, facilitating free surgeries for those in needs.
FICCI FLO JKL remains dedicated to expanding its healthcare outreach, with key members including Aarti Chowdhary, Sona Mehta and Pooja Gandotra actively contributing to the initiative.
