FICCI FLO JKL holds 10 km Promo Run

JAMMU, Mar 31: In preparation for the upcoming FICCI FLO JKL Half Marathon, “24 RUN 4 HEALTH,” which is set to begin from the University of Jammu on April 21, FICCI FLO JKL took a major step towards promoting health and eradicating tuberculosis by organizing a 10 km “Promo Run.” This marathon aims to raise funds for the eradication of tuberculosis, aligning with the national initiative of TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chairperson of FICCI FLO JKL, Ruchika Gupta, emphasized the imperative need for collective action to combat tuberculosis, a persistent public health challenge in India. She highlighted the vision behind the marathon, stating, “Our goal is not just to run, but to run with purpose. The proceeds from this marathon will provide essential nutritional support, testing, and treatment facilities to tuberculosis patients in Jammu & Kashmir.”
With the University of Jammu as a partner and Narayana Super Specialty Hospital as the health partner, FICCI FLO JKL is pleased to present the Half Marathon, “24 RUN4HEALTH,” which is supported by Munjal Auto.
FLO JKL members Shipra Aggarwal and Kanupriya Garg, the first ultra woman of Jammu and Kashmir UT, played a key role in organizing the Promo Run. The running community’s and the FICCI FLO JKL core team’s enthusiastic participation demonstrated their dedication to this admirable cause.
