JAMMU, Mar 20: Fighters-XI trounced Tiger-XI by 22 runs in the Health Cup-2022, being played at Jagti Nagrota, here today.
Batting first, Fighters made 200 runs by losing 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs wherein Rounak Koul scored 64 runs off 32 balls. Akshay Koul made 25 runs while facing 20 balls. From the bowling side, Rajat Safaya and Rahul Jhakar took 2 wickets each while Deepak Kalla clinched 3 wickets.
In reply, Tiger-XI failed to chase the set target in stipulated overs by losing eight wickets and made 178 runs and lost the match by 22 runs. Vishal Kanth scored 50 runs off 32 balls, while Rajat Safaya made 45 runs off 30 balls. From the bowling side, Vickey Sharma took 2 wickets, while Sunil Handoo clinched 3 wickets and Ravi Pandita bagged 2 wickets.
Rounak Koul was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
