SRINAGAR, Nov 27: BJP candidate from Sonawar Assembly constituency, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today conducted door-to-door campaign in Indira Nagar locality and appealed the people to ensure her victory for better development and massive relief work.
Accompanied by several party leaders and her supporters, Dr Andrabi moved in the entire locality door –to- door to seek public support. During the campaign she received tremendous response and public support. She assured the people to work hard with full dedication and ensure better development in this constituency.
Dr Darakhshan said it is unfortunate that despite being part of Srinagar city, many localities of the constituency are craving for better amenities. The political leaders who were at the helm of affairs only exploited innocent people for their vote bank and climbed to the seat of power.
She shared her party’s programme and policy for the rehabilitation of flood hit population. The people of the area also extended her gratitude for her flood rescue and relief work in this locality. The BJP candidate said that she would keep her volunteer spirit alive to see that all flood affected people get due relief without hassles.
Dr Darakhshan said that she will play a bigger role in providing relief to the people of Kashmir and especially to those living in her constituency from the Union Government. She sought massive public support for the cause.
